Testimonials

At Zachary Martial Arts and Leadership Academy we are honored to have touched the lives of many of our students. Here are a few testimonials about our Head Instructor:

Our daughter joined ATA of May last year. She loved tae kwon do so much that she wanted all of us to join so we would get some good exercise. My husband and I are 45/46 years old and so not spring chickens. We never imagined we would be capable of doing the karate techniques. It was so motivating to work with Mr. Hinote. He is so encouraging and made us believe that anything was possible. His love for the sport shows in everything that he teaches. We are now purple belts and our black belt is right around the corner. Being a black belt would not have been possible without Mr. Hinote. Thanks Mr. Hinote for all you do every class!!!

If you are in class Mr. Hinote will always find a way to make it fun. He is always in a good mood and makes you feel good about doing tae kwon do. His is the main reason we joined tae kwon do. Mr. Hinote is a great instructor.

Mr. Hinote was the main reason me and my family joined Tae Kwon Do. He made class really fun! He always did fun thinkgs that taught us Tae Kwon Do and at the same time making class really fun. Mr. Hinote is very nice and very friendly so he is very nice to talk to and makes you feel very cool about Tae Kwon Do.

My kids started Tae Kwon Do on a 30 day free trial. Before the end of the trial, I not only signed the children up but I also joined my self.  That was almost 2 years ago and now I’m a brown belt. Mr. Kevin Hinote was our first instructor, without his encouragement and excellent teaching style I don’t think I could have made it this for.  He makes class fun while insisting on proper Tae Kwo Do technique.  He knows exactly what to say to push you just a bit farther than you thought you could go.  It is that gentle pushing that will have me ready for my black belt. I just would like to say on behalf of my family “Thanks Mr. Hinote for all you have done.”
